The industry shift to a privacy-safe digital ads ecosystem is creating a new landscape for businesses. During this event, we’ll explore what the new landscape means for your business.
We’ll take a look at some privacy-preserving solutions and technologies that both protect people's privacy online and give companies and developers tools to build thriving digital businesses.
We will be joined by Erin Tavallai, AUNZ Ads Privacy for Google who will share her perspective on what it means to be “Privacy Ready”. Erin’s content will be anchored on insights from the latest research; “The Privacy Imperative in APAC - How marketers and publishers can earn trust and drive performance” which was conducted in partnership with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). BCG looked into the current state of readiness and preparation of business in 10 APAC markets, including Australia and New Zealand and surveyed 178 companies across various industries.
We will also be joined by Madeline Oldfield, who will provide an overview of how the industry can start to leverage the Privacy Sandbox to bring Privacy concepts to life as part of its implementation journey. Madeline will cover the key principles and drivers behind the Privacy Sandbox, and deep-dive into proposed privacy-preserving technologies such as Topics and FLEDGE. There will also be an overview of the major events and milestones that we should all be aware of to help with planning and prioritisation in 2022 and beyond.

Erin leads Google AUNZ Ads Privacy strategy - engaging with industry to collaborate on what the Privacy-first future could be and advising businesses on ways to prepare, Erin brings a deep understanding of the digital media landscape both from the advertiser and publisher perspective.
In Erin's 8 years at Google, she has been part of Google Australia’s sales team engaging with customers in the Government sector. She brings international experience having worked across APAC and Europe, specialising in the sports, rights management and eCommerce sectors. Before Google, Erin ran a Formula One YouTube Channel and the digital commercial program for the London 2012 Olympics. She also helped in setting up Wimbledon's first social media strategy.

Madeline leads Privacy Chrome and Web Partnerships for Australia/New Zealand. Before this role, Madeline worked as a senior delivery practitioner within Google Cloud Professional Services to re-imagine and disrupt industries through big data and cloud-based initiatives.
Before Google, Madeline spent over 20 years as a trusted advisor, partner and coach leading large-scale enterprise transformations, civic reforms and ecosystem change as a consultant, and in-house, across the public sector, legal and regulatory, banking and finance, telecommunications, energy and digital industries.

2021 IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards | Award Show
We have received enormous interest in this year's IAB New Zealand Digital Advertising Awards. We have a fabulous night planned for you and with that in mind, we want to be sure we can operate at full capacity.
Due to the current Covid-19 Alert Levels in Auckland, we have decided to move the date of the Awards event, where we will announce the winners, to the new year.
In the meantime, finalists will be announced on Thursday 18 November 2021, following the completion of judging.
